The summer solstice takes place on June 21st in the northern hemisphere. This is one of the longest days of the year. Right now is a great time to explore and take images in the evening. Tonight it didn’t get dark until almost 9:30 p.m. and it was warm, quiet and there was hardly a breath of wind.
